What steps will reproduce the problem?
enable the vr-launch-intents flag and connect device via adb
(1) Open Daydream home and enter VR
(2) run the command $adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -n "com.chrome.dev/org.chromium.chrome.browser.vr.VrMainActivity" --ez android.intent.extra.VR_LAUNCH true -d www.google.com
(3) VR browsing launches
(4) Swipe in from side of screen to view system menu and press back button to exit VR browsing
(5) observe system menu buttons in Chrome 2D mode

What is the expected result? System buttons have correct coloring. They should be grey.

What happens instead? System menu buttons are white. Barely visible.
