Seems like there are two different issues on this bug. The primary one of wrong author... The author comes from the metadata on the git commit itself generally through the git config of the author when creating the commit. Given that it's not just the author as shown on Gerrit, but actually on the commit itself this doesn't seem like a Gerrit bug. Though it is curious what's going on if he wasn't the original author of that commit. Second issue... revert.. there was a revert generated and if you go to it, it was abandoned: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromiumos/platform2/+/912661. So the revert was not done. Don't see any claims about it other than it's existence. I suspect this was a spammy revert, or someone just clicking around given that the user has no other interactions that I've been able to find. |
