Different font size in chrome://version |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionDevice name: s7 From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version:66.0.3342.3 Operating system:7 URLs (if applicable):chrome://version Steps to reproduce: (1)open url Expected result: readable page Actual result: graphic mess maybe connected with https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=808049, but please do not mark as duplicate - I don't see reason to have different fonts on such page (I mean: page should be clear even without special CSS) Marking as P1 because it seems to be another such bug.

it's official Canary 66.0.3343.0, S7, Android 7

chrome://version is WebUI as well AFAIK, so I'm pretty sure the underlying cause is the same as Issue 808049 even though the effect is different. On A Galaxy S6, I observe that the chrome://version page has the same issues as seen in Issue 808049 - using an incorrect, serif'd font on Canary that appears to be the same font as the interstitial page.

I'm reopening - it's still unknown for me that the same class of data are rendered with different fonts (assigned to different classes or something) and problem in 808049 is showing it. Can we make cleanup here and display everything with one font?

Is the request here to make the chrome://version page font match the other internal chrome:// pages? If so,

... If so, this is a low priority polish request item. chrome://version is primarily used for internal debugging and bug reporting.

Answer to #6: I agree it's not critical, it was marked as P1 because of other WebUI issue 808049 Answer to #5: we should have such page, that even with 808049 we should see page with consistent formatting (I mean - values in table should look the same in all lines) |
