Issue descriptionChrome Version: 66.0.3343.0 (Official Build)Revision ceb89e8235ab8b934c9cbe424543ccdd160933d4-refs/heads/master@{#535276} (32/64-bit) OS: Win(7,8,8.1,10), Mac(10,12,6, 10.13.1, 10.13.4) and Linux(14.04 LTS). Steps to reproduce: 1.Launch Chrome, go to https://permission.site, click on Notification Button and dismiss the permission bubble using 'X' icon. 2. Again click on Notification button select allow on bubble and observe the button color. Actual Result: Notification button color remains red even when permission allowed. Expected Result: Notification button should turn green in color on allowing the permission. This is Non-regression issue seen from ‘M-61’ build #61.0.3113.0 Note: 1. Issue is also reproducible on Dev #65.0.3325.51 and Stable/Beta #64.0.3282.140 build. 2. Other buttons such as Location turn green when permission is allowed (Kindly review the screen cast).

This is a bug in permission.site, not in Chrome When the permission prompt is dismissed, the button is coloured red via a CSS class. When the second click grants notification permission, the button is coloured green by adding a CSS class, but the first class isn't removed, and it "wins". You can observe by right-click, inspect element that notifications are granted successfully. +cc patricialor, we might want to consider fixing this in permission.site |
