Regression: Spinning Chrome logo on chrome://welcome jarringly bounces down, appears to tear as it spins, and then jarringly bounces back up after floating to the top

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3342.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome://welcome. 2. Watch the Chrome logo spin. 3. If necessary, repeat steps 1 and 2. What is the expected behavior? The Chrome logo smoothly spins, then smoothly floats to the top when it is done spinning. What went wrong? During its spinning, the Chrome logo jarringly bounces down, appears to tear, and then jarringly bounces up after floating to the top. Did this work before? Yes 66.0.3341.0 Chrome version: 66.0.3342.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: This is a regression issue seen on the latest canary. The previous canary worked correctly.

I never saw any revert mentioned here. Anyways, I can confirm that the issue is no longer seen on the latest canary 66.0.3356.0. |
