Google logo on chrome gets removed when user press space bar when mouse cursor is at search bar and if user press backspace still google logo is not shown

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Steps to reproduce:- PLEASE ALSO REFER ATTACHED SCREEN SHOT.
1) Open google chrome.
2) single mouse click in search text box.
3) Press space bar,
Observations:-  Google Logo gets removed off.
4) Press backspace from keyboard,
Observations:- Still Google logo didn't seen and not back at its place.

Actual result:-Google logo on chrome gets removed when user press space bar when mouse cursor is at search bar and if user press backspace still google logo is not shown.

Expected Result:- Google logo must be fixed at its place, or else must gets back if user is not giving any search command or backspace is hit.

What is the expected behavior?

Thanks for filing the issue!

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 63.0.3239.132 and on the latest canary 66.0.3348.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6. As the issue is seen from M60(60.0.3072.0) considering it as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged.
