You won't see any information about Chrome because the repository is missing the AppStream metadata It's not possible to install the Chrome browser through the What is the expected behavior? You should see all the information (screenshots, description, ...) about the Chrome within the GNOME Software What went wrong? Please add the AppStream metadata for the Chrome to the official RPM repository. It is just a matter of following a process described in [0]. Also it needs to be done for the DEB repositories as well[1]. It is important because without this the Chrome won't be advertised within the Gnome Software application.
