Yes I have gone through below link, I have already tried autocomplete off and observe that latest browser does not respect this property for password field.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Securing_your_site/Turning_off_form_autocompletion

I want browser to not to show password save pop up for user name and password field like we see in bank website.

Is it possible using code/java-script as i want this behavior only for one site?

Also i have tried autocomplete="new-password" and found that it just render the site with blank password field but provide auto-fill option where user can see his/her old password and user details so it means browser is still storing password.

Thanks
Yeah uhm, no idea why that MDN link was even suggested...
Google has been ignoring the autocomplete attribute for some time now, the only work around at the moment seems to be having the name attribute as something really non-semantic, in fact it's seemed to be like this for quite awhile now.

This issue seems to be out of scope of triaging from TE end as reporter is asking for some information regarding password saving. Hence adding TE-NeedsTriageHelp for further triaging of this issue from dev team.

Could someone from UI>Browser>Autofill team please have a look at this issue

Thanks!
