Regression : Unwanted symbol is observed in audits loading message.

Chrome Version : 66.0.3340.0 (Official Build) cf4b77e4ccc0da994c6322f71863b0d17bb5c99f-refs/heads/master@{#534315} 64-bit
OS : Linux (14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome, navigate to www.google.com and open devtools.
2. Go to ‘Audits’ tab and run the audit.
3. Observe the loading messages while audit is running.

Actual Result : Unwanted symbol is observed in audits loading message.

Expected Result : Unwanted symbol should not be seen in audits loading message.

This is a regression issue broken in ‘M-65’ and providing the bisect using ‘per-revision’ script :
Good build : 65.0.3310.0 (Revision: 526576)
Bad build : 65.0.3311.0 (Revision: 526879)

You are probably looking for a change made after 526853 (known good), but no later than 526854 (first known bad).

Note : 
1. This is Linux (14.04 LTS) OS specific issue.
2. Issue is not observed on Windows(7,8,8.1,10) & Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.4) OS.
3. Issue is also reproducible on Linux Dev #65.0.3325.31 build.

@paulirish Looks like even the blocky Lightbulb doesn't come through on Linux, should we nix it all together?

Update:
Retested above issue using latest Canary #66.0.3352.0 build on Linux(14.04 LTS) OS and the original issue is still reproducible. Kindly review an attached screen cast.
