Open link 2. Click on "Take photo" button 3. Stream is black and i have an error on console: => (takePhoto() error: DOMException: setOptions failed) What is the expected behavior? Show photo on the bottom of stream or don't forget the stream What went wrong? Error on console (takePhoto() error: DOMException: setOptions failed). Please see the log file. Did this work before? Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.140 and on the latest canary 66.0.3340.0 using Windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Navigated to https://simpl.info/imagecapture/ 3. Clicked on "Take photo" We are able to take photo and no error is seen in console. Attaching the screenshot of the same. @Reporter: Could you please check the screenshot and let us know if we have any steps while reproducing the issue. With a Realtek driver, the issue is systematic. But with another driver (SunplusIT or Microsoft), the issue is not reproduced. Can you check your camera driver? Thanks!

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10 laptop using a camera having SunplusIT driver as per comment #3. It seems the issue reproduces using a camera with Realtek driver. As ET team doesn't have the specific camera to test the issue . Hence, forwarding the issue to inhouse team for further triaging. Thanks...!!

Unlikely to be related to MediaFoundation work, since that has not yet started rolling out. Looks like in the case of the Realtek driver, something is not quite working out in the DirectShow image capture code path. I need to see if I can find a laptop with a Realtek camera driver to check if I can find out what.
