Gboard multi-word suggestions don't work on Chrome 64+

Issue descriptionExample URL: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_textarea Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use the latest version of the Gboard keyboard on Android 2. Input text on a textarea 3. Try to get a suggestion on the keyboard's suggestion bar that includes multiple words 4. Tap the suggestion What is the expected behavior? Chrome should input the text provided by the keyboard to the text area. What went wrong? Chrome doesn't correctly input the text provided by the keyboard. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes 63.0.3239.111 Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 64.0 Channel: stable OS Version: 7.0 Flash Version: I attached a video that demonstrates this behavior on Chrome 63 vs Chrome 64. I tested the issue on Chrome Beta and Chrome Stable (both on v64) and the two had the issue

Tested the issue in Android and not able to reproduce the issue. Steps Followed: 1. Launch Chrome. 2. Navigate to the URL: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_textarea 3. In the text field try to enter some text with some typo's 4. Observed that text gets auto corrected. Chrome versions tested: 64.0.3282.137(Stable), 66.0.3336.4(Canary) OS: Android 7.0.0 Android Devices: SM-J710F/NRD90M josephvb11@ -- Could you please let us know if we have missed anything. Could you please try by resetting your Chrome settings or Disable and Enable Chrome by navigating to Device settings >> Apps >> Chrome and let us know your observations. If the issue is still reproduced please share the device details. This would help us in further triaging the issue. Thanks in advance.
