In speech api, text is getting recorded even when focus transfers to omnibox

Issue descriptionChrome Version:65.0.3325.33 (Official Build) 7d478a8660452efa231dc4caa37d601d0533c903-refs/branch-heads/3325@{#164}(64-bit) OS:Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.3 , 10.13.1),Windows(7,8,8.1,10) and Linux(14.04 LTS). Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to “https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/demos/speech.html” URL. 2. Click on ‘search by voice’ icon ,click on allow button on from permission bubble and record some text in speech input field. 3. While speaking ,move focus in omnibox and observe speech input field. Actual Result:Text is getting record in speech input field even when focus is in omnibox. Expected Result:Text should not get recorded in speech input field ,when focus is in omnibox. This is a non-regression issue, seen from M-60 build #60.0.3072.0. NOTE: 1.Issue is also seen on M-64 Stable/Beta (build # 64.0.3282.119) and canary M-66(build #66.3335.0)

This doesn't sound to me like it's directly related to the omnibox. If I'm mistaken, feel free to re-add the component. |
