Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Add <input type="week"/> on the page HTML markup 2. Select 2018-W01 week 3. Press on Bottom Arrow inside of week control (rise week down by step) 4. You will see that date will be changed to 2017-W53 5. element.value at this moment will be equal empty string but input will show non-existent 2017-W53 week 5. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Shown non-existent 2017-W53 week in 2017 year Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version:

I can confirm that 2017 does not have W53. 2017-12-31 was Sunday. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_week_date#Last_week, it is then W52. Adding Blink>Forms>Month component for visibility (there is no Blink>Forms>Week component).

This is a variant of Issue 231811. We don't refer to year field to define the maximum value of the week field. This is by design for now. |
