Swipe function not available after switch US Normal keyboard to Floating

Firmware Google_Link.2695.1.169


REPRO STEPS:
1.Enable swipe gestures
2.Open US Normal keyboard
3.Swipe from the BackSpace key, it can delete whole words
4.Switch to Floating keyboard


Actual result: 
Swipe function not appear.

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
It should be disable on floating keyboard.
pls see:  6.9.1.0
