Unable to reproduce the issue on mac 10.13.1 and mac 10.12.6 using chrome reported version #63.0.3239.132, latest stable #64.0.3282.119 and latest canary #66.0.3334.0. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Navigated to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48477123/why-svg-fill-color-behave-strange-in-chrome?noredirect=1#comment83950937_48477123 2. Ran the code snippet. 3. Observed that there are no 2 regions with different colors. anxsec@ - Could you please check the issue on latest stable #64.0.3282.119 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. Thanks for comment. Yes, it is when you in zoom scale mode. But it will appears when you in real scale. You should click "Full page" at the top right corner of the snipper runner. Screen cast attached below for reference.

Does the problem go away if you disable GPU rasterization? Does the problem go away if you disable color space management?

Yes, it goes away when i disable GPU rasterization. I don't konw how to disable color space management so I can't test it.

Looks like a tessellation artifact, and appears to be fixed in Canary/ToT. Bisected to You are probably looking for a change made after 526494 (known bad), but no later than 526496 (first known good).
