Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://jsfiddle.net/trbns9bq/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the page and move your mouse over the red box. What is the expected behavior? It should animate the blur on the red box What went wrong? It flashes while the animation in progress. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13.2 Flash Version: Does the same in Chrome Canary 66.0.3332.0 on both OSX and Windows.

The animation is very steppy and uneven. Looks better with --disable-gpu. Works fine in Safari and Firefox.

We're also experiencing this issue, however somewhat less pronounced. Repro in the the report pretty much covers the issue. Tried to bisect, was reproducible with every build available to bisect-builds.py (earliest build available is 389148 - 52.0.2716.0).

I should add that I was able to reproduce on Windows, so affecting all desktop platforms. |
