Reproduction Steps: 
1. Enable Chromevox by pressing Alt+Control+Z and notice the absence of sound as used to play when launching.
2. Repeat the keystroke to exit Chromevox, and note the absence of the sound to indicate that it has turned off successfully.
Expected: An ascending sound would indicate that Chromevox is on, and a descending when it is off. This was the behavior in Chromevox until recent updates.
Actual: No sound is played.
