Pixelbook Mousepad Gestures Stop Working

Reported by bmgraphi...@gmail.com, Jan 26 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version : 64.0.3282.101

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. After browsing in Chrome for about 20-30 minutes, the Mousepad gesture function stops working.
2. I have stumbled upon a way to get the gestures working again. If I move the mouse to the center of the screen and click, the gesture functions start working again for another 20-30 minutes.
3.

What is the expected result? I expect the Mousepad gestures to work continuously without performing workarounds.

What happens instead of that? The Mousepad gestures cease to function.

Probably not related to anything in input_device. It sounds like it could be gesture recognizer bug? +dtapuska for triage.
