Issue descriptionChrome Version: (M62-M65) OS: CrOS, Eve, Caroline What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open Google page (2) Type calc in search line (3) In the shown calc widget click on buttons using touchscreen (4) In the shown calc widget click on buttons using touchpad What is the expected result? 3,4 should produce digits in calc. 3 works as expected. What happens instead? 4 has no reaction. Note, mouse clicks on browser version do work. Looks bit weird. Please triage.

Usually, when we see behavior like this it's the result of the page doing something incorrect with touch detection. I've been trying to find the right component internally to file a bug against.

I can repro on Linux 65.0.3325.18. Taking a closer look now...

It's also broken in Stable 64.0.3282.119 and Firefox. Interestingly it works in Edge and Chrome Windows both Stable and Canary (at least via RDP).

Yep, it's because the calculator button has a logic: if (touchscreen) add touch event listener else and mouse event listener It's broken in any browser with touch screen because (hasTouch) working great....Not sure via the RDP..

RDP is almost certainly not plumbing the touchscreen information across.
