Chrome debugger console not showing entire text

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10032.86.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.140 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10032.86.0 (Official Build) stable-channel eve

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Get a Pixelbook
2. Swap to Developer mode
3. Open a chrome debugger console window

What is the expected behavior?
To see my text, not to see it cut out

What went wrong?
I see only half of my text and its EXTREMELY annoying (look at the picture)

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.140  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10032.86.0
Flash Version: 28.0.0.137

You do not need to be in developer mode*

Happens for me as well on latest version of chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 (stable)
on a mac, OS X 10.12.6

It usually happens after unplugging the external monitors (two monitors) from my macbook pro and then using only the macbook pro's internal monitor.

It works for me now, gets me curious since idk what changed.
