Have 2 profiles with multiple windows and tabs open for each profile 2. Choose a profile and in the url bar type in "chrome://restart" 3. Wait for the browser to come back 4. Observe that only windows and tabs from the chosen profile come back. What is the expected behavior? I expect that the tabs and windows from all profiles should come back without me having to do anything. What went wrong? The windows and tabs for secondary profiles do not get restored after restarting chrome Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.2 Flash Version: Optional and extra steps: 5. Use the selection tool for profiles in the top right corner to select the other profile 6. You see the windows and tabs come back as they should.

sgayda2@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.13.1 on the latest Canary 66.0.3331.0, Stable 64.0.3282.119 and the reported version 63.0.3239.132 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the steps mentioned in the original comment. Can observe that on typing chrome://restart, all the profiles of Chrome browser closes and comes back. No issues are observed. Request you to please retry the issue without any flags/extensions and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..

[Mac triage] Since we haven't heard back in over a month, I'm going to close this bug. (I'm not able to reproduce it in current versions of Chrome, either, for what it's worth.) |
