Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 63.0.3239.132 and on the latest dev 66.0.3330.0 using Ubuntu 14.04, windows 10 and Mac 10.13.1. As the issue is seen from M60(60.0.3072.0) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged.

Thanks!

At certain zoom levels the image is snapped to a size that is one pixel taller than the text resulting in the following image not clearing it.
Using clear: left or explicitly setting the same height should prevent this from happening.

Ok thank you! Using 'clear: left' produces the desired behavior!
