Showing the printer options crashes Chrome

Reported by guillaum...@instantluxe.com, Jan 24 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3329.3 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open any page
2. print > save as PDF
3. the view starts drawing the correct layout, but the whole browser (all windows, all sessions) crashes before the preview has a chance to display ; the controls on the left don't show either

What is the expected behavior?
ability to see the print controls, change the printer etc. including see a preview

What went wrong?
all windows crash at the same time, including all logged in sessions

Crashed report ID: no

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A

Did this work before? Yes earlier this week, maybe? definitely last week

Chrome version: 66.0.3329.3 Channel: canary
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: n/a

I don't remember what printer was last used, it could have been a network device or the built-in "save as PDF" tool.

Can you try to get a crash report ID? I can't reproduce this on Win10 using the same version of Chrome (66.0.3329.3), so it might be specific to whatever printer you used last.

If you can't get a crash ID, another idea to help determine if this might be specific to the most recently used printer is to run Chrome Canary with the --use-system-default-printer flag, and configure your system default printer in the Windows Devices and Printers settings to be XPS Document Writer (or, if this isn't available, another printer that you know has worked in the past). This will cause Print Preview to select whatever printer you set as the system default when it comes up, so we can either rule out a printer issue (since XPS Document Writer still seems to work here) or figure out what printer is selected when the crash occurs.

Yes, please get a crash report id if possible. https://www.chromium.org/for-testers/bug-reporting-guidelines/reporting-crash-bug
Well, today I am on Version 66.0.3330.0 (Build officiel) canary (64 bits) and it doesn't crash any more.
Another upgrade to Version 66.0.3331.0 (Build officiel) canary (64 bits) this morning is OK too.
The predefined printer was the built-in Save as PDF feature.
