Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari: do not use at all
Firefox: PASS/FAIL (V. )
Edge: do not use at all
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) open any page
(2) right click on mouse and choose "inspect element" or use F12 key
(3) CRASH
What is the expected result?
What happens instead?
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu
page at the end of this report.

schaumann.jan@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 on the latest Stable 64.0.3282.140 and Canary 66.0.3336.5 and unable to reproduce the issue. On opening any page on Chrome and hit on F12 key (or) right click -> Inspect, can observe that Dev tools is opening without any issues. Request you to please update Chrome to the latest version and retry the issue and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..

Hi Susan, thank you for your answer, I have windows 7 and it help to uninstall chrome and delete all data in program files and ~/LocalData directory then install chrome again and it is working well simple reinstall without cleaning such directories mentioned above does not help at all. Unable to reproduce this issue on latest stable 64.0.3282.140 and on latest canary 66.0.3339.0 on Windows 7 and Windows 10. i.e; No crash is seen on opening devtools @Reporter: Could you please let us know on which build you are facing this issue? If you are using Old builds please upgrade to latest stable build from https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel and check the issue. This would help in further triaging of the issue.
