DevRel-SAP: Column-count CSS attribute leads to a strange result

Issue description

What is the version of Chrome (chrome://settings/help)?
63.0.3239.132

What is the OS Version?
Windows 10

What are the steps to reproduce the problem?
open the attached File

What is the expected behavior?
The 3 texts are in 3 columns. (Just like in IE and Firefox)

What is the experienced behavior?
The 1 column has 2 texts, the second one and the last is empty

Has the experienced behavior changed?

(If so) In what prior version of Chrome was the behavior as expected?
I don’t know if the behavior has changed.

Is the experienced behavior different in other browsers?
In FireFox and IE it looks OK. 

Any other comments?

Multicol doesn't seem to work very well with inline-block. Is this a known problem?

Orphans and widows are initially set to 2, so we try to avoid putting lone lines in a column. This is correct behavior.

Try setting orphans and widows to 1.
