Chrome logo on chrome://welcome is ever so slightly cut off

Reported by 93m4qau...@gmail.com, Jan 24 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3329.1 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open chrome://welcome.
2. Wait for the Chrome logo to finish spinning.
3. When the Chrome logo has finished spinning, tilt your monitor back and look closely at the top of the Chrome logo.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
The gradient is slightly cut off near the top of the Chrome logo (once it has finished spinning).

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 66.0.3329.1 Channel: canary
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version:

I took a screenshot of it and then used Microsoft Paint to fill the background in as gray, which clearly shows that it is cut off near the top of the Chrome logo.

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 66.0.3329.1 and on the latest canary 66.0.3334.0 using windows 7 with the below mentioned steps.
1. Launched Chrome
2. Navigated to chrome://welcome
3. After spinning of chrome logo we observed that there is no cut off/clip in the logo.
Attaching the screen shot of the same.

@Reporter: Could you please check the screenshot and let us know there is anything additional to be done in order to reproduce the issue. And please clarify us on the point no.3 of comment#0 about "tilt your monitor back".

Thanks!

If you zoom into the top of the chromeball and look closely, then it is slightly cut off. You can also screenshot it, open it in paint, and fill the white with gray and see that the shadow is cut off on the top.

Issue is still seen on latest canary 66.0.3340.0. The Chrome logo itself is not cut off, but the shadow around it is slightly cut off near the top of the Chrome logo. This can be seen by pressing Print Screen on the Chrome welcome page, opening Microsoft Paint, pressing Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot into Microsoft Paint, and using the fill tool to color the background of the Chrome welcome page gray.
