I'm using desktop Chrome to record tracings of Chrome on Android. When the "Record" dialog is opened the 1st time I pressed the "None" buttons for both groups of categories and then went on to select the ones I was interested at.

A few reports later, I open the dialog and for no apparent reason a few other categories were auto-magically selected. This is very annoying because depending on the enabled categories Chrome might behave differently (imagine the effects of memory-infra being enabled when not needed). Furthermore those categories were located below the fold of the dialog so I only noticed that because I scrolled down.

The main fix is stopping this apparent random selection of enabled categories. But I'd also suggest improving the dialog to make it cleared what are the currently selected categories as scrolling the two lists and checking one in this layout is error prone.
