CRD client - display all white, webpages stopped rendering. |
|||
Issue descriptionI've got a Linux bot [CRD host]. I can CRD in with my MBP, everything always works. When I try to CRD in with my MacPro [client], the CRD window always shows a fully-white screen. I've tried restarting the host, and restarting Chrome in the client. Chromeversion: 66.0.3329.1. Most recently, in the MacPro [client], I tried to CRD in [all white]. Then I tried to file a bug from the same Chrome instance. Some webpages also refuse to render [content is all white]. 1) Typing in the omnibox and doing a google search always works. 2) New gmail renderers never work [all white]. 3) Existing gmail renderers work fine. 4) crbug.com refuses to load. Chromoting works fine with Chrome stable: 63.0.3239.132 on the same device.

Are you saying that the instance of Chrome running locally (the client) shows a white screen for the CRD app window, or the instance of Chrome running remotely (the host) doesn't render web content correctly? If the former, are other local pages affected (you mention Gmail and crbug.com, but I'm not sure if removing APB fixed both of these). If the latter, what is the host OS?

The former. Other local pages have been fixed since disabling ABP. But after restart, CRD is still non-functional.

I can reproduce this on my MacPro and my Windows machine. It looks like a regression in one of the Pepper APIs we use, but I can't repro with any of the NaCl sample apps and I don't see any relevant errors in the JavaScript console log. Adding GPU component to see if anyone can help.

De-duping against bug 804433 , which has more details. |
