Summary:
- confirmation on the dialog box style change
- potential issue with the dialog box message

On M65 dev build (10302.0.0, 65.0.3319.0), the UI for password protected dialog box looks as per the attached screenshot. Please confirm if this UI is expected for M65?

The style has been updated for this time, as tracked by Issue 768731 .
The text messaging was modified per request by the UX last time.

However, to me, it looks like losing necessary information by recent changes.
Currently messaging can be interpreted as requiring user's login password because it only says "your password" and it's not clear that it means the passphrase of the file being opened in a zip archive.

IMHO I'd suggest """ Enter the passphrase to open this file. """ or so.

One more thing: We'll stop storing mounted files for resuming them on restart ( Issue 789073 , 803752 ) since M64. The "remember" checkbox meant to persist password besides the ZIP mount volumes for that purpose. Therefore we'll remove the checkbox from the UI.
After removing the checkbox, the dialog will look like this:

yamaguchi@ - Let's keep the current string "Enter your password" and remove the Save password checkbox as captured in your screenshot from Comment #3 for M65. We can revisit updating the string in a future release if it is confusing for users.

Thanks.
Now this issue is resolved as the checkbox has been removed for Issue 803752 .

Hi @yamaguchi, Issue 803752 seems to be fixed where passphrase dialog box appears every time while mounting protected zip archive. But, I can still see the 'remember' checkbox on the passphrase UI, on M65 dev build (10323.9.0, 65.0.3325.35).
I think Issue 803752 is not fixed yet in the M65 release candidate image today. It will not require passphrase when done exactly in the same way as described there.

I've reopened 803752. We'll put it into M65 once approved.

Verified on Chrome OS version 10323.24.0, 65.0.3325.59 dev channel eve device.
