"Start a new meeting" on MIMO does nothing when Meet is disabled |
|||||||
Issue descriptionChromeOS version: Cfm device model: Bluestreak Case#: 14714065 Description: If domain uses "Classic" Hangouts, not Hangouts Meet, then MIMO still shows Meet interface, but "Start a new meeting" button does nothing (it shows it was pressed, but nothing happens). If started without MIMO attached, TV would show Classic Hangouts interface and clicking on start meeting works. Might be because Classic Hangouts requires meeting name? Steps to reproduce: 1. Disable Meet for domain 2. Start Bluesteak with MIMO touchscreen attached 3. Tap on "Start a new meeting" Current Behavior / Reproduction: Nothing happens, no meeting started Expected Behavior: Starts a meeting Drive link to logs:

dkalland@ we came across this during Chrome OS UI triage - is there GVC/Mimo component we can apply in crbug to exclude these bugs from our triage list?

As per b/72567390, lewenhaupt@ added a fix to hide "Start a new meeting" icon on MIMO when Cfm is in the classic Hangouts mode. Marking this bug as fixed. |
