Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome Canary (66.0.3328.1)
2. Install AdBlock (or AdBlock Plus)
3. On the chrome://extensions page, disable and then re-enable AdBlock
4. Navigate to any webpage (e.g. wikipedia.org)

What is the expected behavior?
The page should be displayed normally.

What went wrong?
No content is displayed. The page is completely white.

This issue occurs whether or not AdBlock is actually blocking anything. This issue doesn't appear to occur with other (non-ad-blocking) extensions.
