Background context: go/memory-infra

Just noticed when looking at a trace with rmcilroy
we discount properly the tracing overhead from malloc:**effective_size** but not from allocated_object_size. The latter is reported in run_benchmark and can be quite confusing

Can we fix the discount logic? I think these days it lives completely in trace viewer.
