Usb connection on xbox one controller crashes chrome book restarts loop over and over

This crash occurs when a 2015 or newer Xbox One controller is connected to the chromebook via a microUSB. It is a "kernel panic" and causes a boot-loop until the controller usb is disconnected. Verified on v63.0.3239.140 on Acer Chromebook R11. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chromebook-central/CpDTBrxMls4
