duplicate username + password for reddit.com

I ended up with two entries at passwords.google.com for reddit.com for the same username somehow.  Chrome autofilled the first one, and it didn't work.

Could you check at chrome://settings/passwords whether you see two passwords there and whether they are different in any way (e.g. one for http and one for https)?
