Issue descriptionChrome Version:65.0.3323.0 (Official Build)Revision 470d3a6be2f380affa8de3dc0dd1508f3eeba9f7-refs/heads/master@{#529554} (32/64-bit) OS:Windows(7,8,8.1,10) URL:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer/oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm?hl=en What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome,navigate to above url and click on 'ADD TO CHROME'. (2)Navigate to http://www.stepupnihongo.com/images/SUN3_L-51.pdf , click on zoom out/zoom in button (i.e - or +) (3)Scroll pdf page up/down and observe the content. Actual: Black patch appears momentarily after zooming out/in and scrolling the pdf page. Expected: No such black patch should be seen after zooming out/in and scrolling the pdf page. This is a regression issue broken in 'M65' and below is the manual bisect info Good Build: 65.0.3294.0 (Revision:523977) Bad Build: 65.0.3295.0 (Revision:524284) Note: Issue not seen on Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.3),Linux(14.04 LTS)OS.

Isn't this Rob W's PDF Viewer, and thus not related to Internals>Plugins>PDF? Also, the pdfium-deps-roller CL is all XFA, which does not affect Chromium at all right now. junov: Could this be caused by r524204?

This is more likely a bug with canvas/rendering. My PDF Viewer extension makes heavy use of <canvas>. In the given PDF file, large bitmaps are being drawn on the canvases. From the regression range and the description of 2e4a432454ac3f04d6c5fa8f17c49ce3026217d6, it seems quite likely that the regression is caused by it.
