Issue descriptionGoogle Chrome 65.0.3322.3 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) (cohort: Clang-64) Google Chrome 65.0.3315.3 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) (cohort: Dev) Google Chrome 64.0.3282.85 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) (cohort: Beta) Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 NVDA 2017.4 JAWS 2018.1801.18 Private Beta Firefox ESR 52.5.3 (64-bit) Steps to reproduce: # Launch JAWS # Launch any Google Doc, get out of virtual cursor mode - in JAWS, ctrl + z # Make sure braille mode is enabled in Accessibility > Settings # Use the arrow keys to navigate in any direction (up down left or right) Expected: arrow keys work Actual: arrow keys do not work, cursor is not moved Workaround: after exiting virtual cursor mode, press escape twice # Close JAWS, open NVDA # Follow above steps using insert + space to get into focus mode # Behavior is the same as above, need to press esc twice to get arrow keys to work # Try in Firefox ESR, works as expected in both NVDA and JAWS This is currently not working in Canary nor Dev. It is working as expected in Beta.

Update: this turns out to be an extremely intermittent issue and I can't reliably reproduce it including in the builds mentioned above. Another tester, dsexton, cannot reproduce it at all. Therefore, this is a dupe of another focus issue, found in this bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=799578 Resolving as dupe. |
