Connecting to a wi-fi network when tethering connection is connected causes chrome crash

Issue description

Chrome Version: 10176.47.1 / 64.0.3282.87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Connect to a tethering network ( Pixel XL phone)
(2)Go to network settings and try to change connection to wi-fi network available


What is the expected result?

The connection should change to the wi-fi network

What happens instead?

Chrome crash is seen

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
