nassh: connection hangs

my ssh does this every time  how to fix

Summary: nassh: connection hangs (was: it doesnt do anything )
you need to make sure 10.10.1.1 is the actual system you want to connect to and your local device actually has access to it over the network.  you can add -vvv to the ssh command line to get more details out of it.

I was having a similar issue on my laptop, trying to connect to my desktop machine. Running "diagnose_me" on my desktop notified me that the hostname for my desktop was not pointing to the correct IP address and fixed the issue for me.

let us know if the network/IP/system is working but Secure Shell still fails
