What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Run chrome on a machine running in HDR mode.
(2) Enable experimental canvas features in about:flags
(3) go to http://fredrik.hubbe.net/webgl/canvas.html
(4) open up another tab, switch back and forth

What is the expected result?

The image in the canvas.html tab should remain the same.

What happens instead?

The image gets converted to 8-bit and the HDR aspects goes away.
