I reproduced on Windows 63.0.3239.132 but not on Linux. This looks like the scrollbar snap back logic (see issue 567968 for details) that occurs when the mouse moves far away enough from the scrollbar. In Edge, this only happens in the perpendicular direction though - the bug in Chrome is that it occurs for the scrollbar direction as well. This is low pri but should be quite easy to fix. It'd make a good starter bug.

I would like to solve this bug out. Any pointers on where I would be able to find Mouse related events or scroll events in the codebase ? Thanks. Is this bug only for reprodicible in Windows ? If yes then a a person using Mac for development would not be able to reproduce this, right ? I am sorry I am asking a lot of silly questions

FWIW I am not able to repro this, using the code pen in the video https://codepen.io/anon/pen/JMvbOO Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows. |
