Thanks for filing the issue!! Observations on testing this issue on reported version 63.0.3239.132 using Windows 10 with below steps. 1. Launched chrome in English and inputed chrome://hang in omnibox . Observed buttons as "Wait" and "Exit Page". 2. Now launched browser in Russian language and observed button text as "страница выхода" which means "Exit page" @Reporter: Please check the attached screenshot and let us know if we miss anything. And also please let us know whether you are expecting "leave page/quit page" instead of "exit page"

The key here is: Your translation to Russian is wrong! See... In the sentence "Exit page" the "EXIT" is a VERB (to exit).. Whereas in Russian translation "Страница выхода" "Exit" is an ADJECTIVE so into Russian you translated literally as "The page that people use to perform exit" (some kind of logoff_page (NOUN)).. But the correct translation to Russian MUST BE "Покинуть страницу" which is "Leave (VERB, to leave) the page".. Consult translators if you have them in Chrome.. It's clear that "Страница выхода" must be replaced with "Покинуть страницу" ... (Since exit is not an adjective but is a verb (indefinite present form))

The key source of error is that you haven't consulted with Russian speakers about the translation. See s2.png Note that GoogleTranslate has a bug.. In the "quit page" remove dot And you'll see that it's translated incorrectly... (as if quit were the synonym of close) Also on s2.png note that adding dot causes Google translate translate it approximately correctly as "Exit(noun)" literally...

To make it even clearer: "Страница выхода" can be translated into English as "A page of exit..")

Moving to Localization component, as that's the one that actually deals with translations of things within Chromium. Sorry this was miscategorized for so long!

Hi All, Thank you for flagging. May I request an EN screenshot of the same page from comment#1? The EN string that was mentioned here is quite confusing. This will help us identify what and where should we fix it. Kind Regards!
