Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10032.75.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.116 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10032.75.0 (Official Build) stable-channel terra Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Reveal the task bar with a window open. 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? The white icons and white background will be indistinguishable from each other. What went wrong? I cannot see what the battery percentage on my Chromebook is from a quick glance, I have to open the menu to see the icons. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 63.0.3239.116 Channel: stable OS Version: 10032.75.0 Flash Version: This is extremely annoying for Chromebook users, I would recommend fixing it right away by giving the task bar color again.

I think they fixed it. The task bar is no longer transparent for me.

Still a problem for me. Transparent shelf means I can't read the text on a white page. Lenovo N23 Yoga Version 63.0.3239.140

The fix wasn't merged back to 64 because of the potential risk. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=779720#c21 |
