Monorail on Chrome on Android behaves differently than on Linux Chrome and Windows Firefox

Project Member Reported by mar...@mwiacek.com, Jan 8 2018

Issue description

Device name: S7

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version: 65.0.3315.0 (Canary)
Operating system: 7.0

URLs (if applicable): list of bugs in Monorail, for example https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list?can=1&q=mwiacek&colspec=ID+Pri+M+Stars+ReleaseBlock+Component+Status+Owner+Summary+OS+Modified&x=m&y=releaseblock&cells=ids

Steps to reproduce:
(1) in the line with column headers press three dots ("...") and click on some non visible column - column will be added (OK)
(2) click again on three dots - column from step (1) has got blue diamond on the left (OK)
(3) click on the same column name - column will be hidden (OK)
(4) click again on three dots - column from step (1) has got blue diamond on the left (not OK)

Expected result: blue diamond is hidden

Actual result: blue diamond on Android is not hidden (Linux Chrome and Windows FF makes it)

3. Tap on the three dotted menu and select an item which is not seen in the columns.
4. Observe that selected column is displayed.
5. Tap on the three dotted menu and unselect the column selected in Step-3.

Components: UI Blink

Components: -UI -Blink
It's unlikely that a Chromium bug causes such difference between desktop and Android. I guess this is a Monorail issue.
