Both of Firefox Nightly and Safari TP show "FAIL". We shouldn't change the behavior to keep interoperability.

I filed a bug for Safari that I can't link to. EdgeHTML does this according to the spec [https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/form-elements.html#attr-option-label]. There's also this WHATWG issue [https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/2988]. |
