Chromebook stuck "Resolving host" on any page load, very similar to closed Issue 560638

Reported by ewergela...@gmail.com, Jan 7 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10032.75.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.116 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10032.75.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna

Example URL:
When the problem happens all URL's are a problem

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. The issue happens when using Motorolla (ARRIS) sbg6782-ac.
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
DNS will not resolve no matter how I change my DNS servers. Resetting the connection will often allow DNS to resolve for a short time.

What went wrong?
I suspect my Motorolla (ARRIS) sbg6782-ac is the issue. The issue happens on WiFi and when connected via a network cable. It happens only to my Chromebooks. My Android devices and Windows 10 PC's do not have the issue at all.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10032.75.0
Flash Version: 28.0.0.126

When I connect a different WiFi router (TRENDnet N150) via network cable to my Motorolla (ARRIS) sbg6782-ac the DNS issue goes away when connected to the TRENDnet N150.
