input type number accept character "E" as input

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1.edit browser html5 validations rules 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? the input field is not accepting any character in input:number so, it should also not accept character "e" or "E" as well. What went wrong? chrome don't accept any characters or alphabets in input:number, except dot(.) and numbers. however, it accepts character "E" or "e" as input in the input field.
