What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to https://twitter.com/henrikbennetsen/status/949129993220636672 in Chrome Dev on Android
(2) Click the medium.com link
(3) Play the video in Portrait orientation
(4) Go to Landscape orientation

What is the expected result?

Expect the video to continue playing.


What happens instead?

Video playback stops though the media element thinks it's playing. Switching back to Portrait orientation has a spinner over the video. The video can not recover from this state.

I'm not sure when this regressed. I think in the past week or so. Saw it a few times but didn't realize what was happening until just now.
