Showing black screen and spinning circle for not supported videos

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Save a .wmv in downloads
2. Right click on file name
3. Choose 'Open with Video Player'

What is the expected result?
A message to say this file type is not supported, or to support this file type


What happens instead of that?
Black screen with rotating circle

possible.
