[Chrome][M63][Android 8.0] A white background screen overlaps with an idle screen

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Setting > Apps > Chrome > Clear all data 2. Open up Chrome from home screen 3. Press back key to return to home screen What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? A white background screen overlaps with an idle screen Did this work before? Yes 62.0.3202.84 Chrome version: 63.0.3239.111 Channel: stable OS Version: 8.0 Flash Version:

Tested the issue in Android and could not reproduce the issue. No white flash of screen is observed Steps Followed: 1. Cleared all Chrome data from settings>> Apps 2. Launched Chrome from home screen 3. Tapped back key to return to home screen No white flash of screen is observed Chrome versions tested: 63.0.3239.111 OS Android 8.0.0 Android Devices Pixel XL 8.0.0 @seiyon: Could you please help us with details of your device for further triaging of the issue. Dear Chrome team Here's a test result. - Device : Nexus 5X - OS : Android 8.1.0 - Chrome version : - Chrome 61.0.3163.98 : works as intended - Chrome 63.0.3239.111 : wrong behavior - Chrome Beta 64.0.3282.29 : wrong behavior - Chrome Dev 65.0.3299.6 : wrong behavior
