Issue Description:
In Mac, Drop event is not fired with Cmd key pressed. In windows, Drop event is fired with Ctrl key is pressed.

2. Type some string to search
3. Click Cmd and Drag the first link to google search bar without releasing Cmd key

Hmm... I can't with Safari. Can you please attach a video, that is showing what you exactly mean. May be I misunderstand you report. Thanks :-)
Please find screen recording at https://www.dropbox.com/s/wjrv2dny2bs2z5k/Cmd_Drop.mov?dl=0
Also, please note that, I am holding cmd key when i am drag and drop the link.
Thanks for the screencast. That was very helpful.

I can add the link to the Google Page Searchbar, when I do *not* hold the CMD key.

So just do not hold the CMD and it will work :-)

Can you confirm it?

yes, it works. Issue occurs only when Cmd key is pressed.

Yes, marking as confirmed. Since Safari and Firefox can add it while pressing the CMD key, Chrome should also be able do that.
